Yamada Continues Endorsement Momentum in 8th AD
CTA, The California List, West Sac Firefighters and California Labor Federation Endorse Mariko Yamada in the Democratic Primary for State Assembly
Vacaville, CA – The California Teachers Association, the California List, West Sacramento Firefighters Local 522, and the California Labor Federation joined in supporting Mariko Yamada’s candidacy in the Democratic Primary for the 8th Assembly District.
Yamada, a County Supervisor and professional social worker, has personally walked to over 3400 households in Solano County, an area with 60% of the district’s voters, and where neither candidate had early name recognition. The latest polls show Yamada and her opponent in a dead-even heat.
Yamada is former Chairwoman of the Yolo County Democratic Party and also served as Chairwoman of the 8th Assembly District Committee of the California Democratic Party.
