California Professional Firefighters Endorse Mariko Yamada in 8th AD
CPF Joins Davis Local 3494 and West Sacramento Local 522 in Public Safety Endorsement
SACRAMENTO – California Professional Firefighters announced today their endorsement of Mariko Yamada in the Democratic Primary for the 8th Assembly District. The endorsement from this statewide organization adds to the local firefighter endorsements Yamada has already earned from Davis Professional Firefighters, Local 3494 and West Sacramento Firefighters, Local 522.
"Mariko Yamada has consistently fought on behalf of first responders throughout her three decades of public service. Her steadfast support for public safety as a Yolo County Supervisor has earned her the backing of firefighters throughout California,” said Lou Paulson, President of the California Professional Firefighters.
CPF joins the California Nurses Association, California Teachers Association, California Labor Federation, SEIU State Council, Stationary Engineers Local 39, and the Sacramento and Napa-Solano Central Labor Councils in supporting Yamada’s stand for working families.
