Trick or Treat? It’s Up to Us!

No doubt about it—the next 96 hours (or 97 since we get an “extra hour” back from the return of Daylight Standard Time this Sunday) are critical to taking our country and our State back. We’re in our “Final Four” to Election Day 2008, and there’s no time to let-up!

Just as we’ve done over the past 20 months, our “direct-to-the-people” walking effort continues in Yolo and Solano counties. Thanks to Yolo United and the United Democratic Headquarters in Vacaville, teams of dedicated “foot soldiers” are poised to carry our message of hope and change to the voters of the 8th Assembly District.

Besides my own race, we are working to elect Skip Thomson as Solano County Supervisor, 5th District, and Ron Rowlett as a Vacaville City Councilman. Lois Wolk continues her quest to represent us as our 5th District State Senator, and we are all fired-up for Obama-Biden! And we must say NO to Propositions 4 and 8, clearly and unequivocally. Our campaign stands for progress and choice, not division and fear.

Thanks for all your support in my journey to a seat in the California State Assembly. We are almost there—and I am so anxious to get-to-work!
